About Vicky Path
I always wanted to be an artist, even from an early age. My journey began with a class which taught a wet on wet oil painting technique. I had a fantastic instructor, Morris Hinson, who was very encouraging. He constantly pushed me to achieve better results. It was with his guidance and instruction that I was able to obtain a foundation by which I have been growing as an artist.
I have a passion for detail. After having learned the wet on wet oil style, I decided to try my hand at acrylics with the hope of achieving a higher degree of detail in my paintings. My goal back then remains my goal today, and that is to create paintings which are both beautiful, and also very realistic in appearance. It was this pursuit of detail which has led me most recently to graphite and colored pencils. My goal is to become a well-rounded artist. I enjoy visiting beautiful places and transferring the essence of that onto a canvas.
